You get an assigned space on a month-to-month basis. Store your boat through the off-season, or keep it here all year and tow it to the water whenever you’re ready.

Boat Storage FAQ
Questions About Boat Storage
How much does boat storage cost?
Boat storage is $2 per foot per month, with a $50 monthly minimum. For example, a boat and trailer that measure 30 feet overall are $60 a month.
How do you measure my boat?
We measure the overall length, from the front tip of the boat to the end of the trailer tongue and hitch.
Does my boat need to be on a trailer?
Yes. Every boat must be stored on its own trailer.
Is boat storage covered?
No. Boats are stored in an open, uncovered gravel lot, so we recommend a good-fitting boat cover. There’s no power or water at the spaces.
Do I get my own space, and is there a contract?
Each boat has an assigned space, on a month-to-month basis. Call (828) 429-3129 to reserve over the phone, then sign your rental agreement at the office Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM. Online rentals and payments aren’t available.
Should I winterize my boat before storing it?
If you’re storing through the winter, it’s a good idea. Follow your boat manufacturer’s or marine mechanic’s winterizing steps before the first hard freeze.
When can I get to my boat?
The gate is open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM, so you can hitch up for a day on the lake any day of the week.
